| Abstract: | O objetivo deste artigo é analisar a pauta de exportação do Brasil e de Minas Gerais sob a Abordagem da Complexidade. Além da análise setorial, verifica-se o espaço dos produtos brasileiro e mineiro, com enfoque no conceito de Vantagem Comparativa Revelada, e também no Índice de Complexidade Econômica. A partir disso, observa-se que a pauta exportadora de ambos tem ficado mais concentrada em poucos produtos e de menor intensidade tecnológica; ambos têm se situado predominantemente na periferia do Espaço do Produto e precisam traçar estratégias no sentido de desenvolver novas capacitações e aprimorar as já existentes. |
| Abstract: | The objective of this paper is to analyse Brazil's and Minas Gerais' list of exports under Complexity Approach. Apart from sectorial analysis, we verified the Product Space brasileiro and mineiro, focusing on the concept of Revealed Comparative Advantage, and also the Economic Complexity Index. From that, we observe that their list of exports have become more concentrated in less products, and with minor technology intensity; they have been situated predominantly in the periphery of the Product Space; the country and the state will have to trace strategies in the sense of developing new capabilities and improving the ones already established. |
