| Abstract: | Every day, more than ever, English is becoming the international language that brings people from all parts of the world together. In times of globalization, it is essential to know the lingua franca that makes communication possible in a world with so many different languages and cultures. With hard work and dedication, you can also become a successful English speaker. The main goal of this material is to assist Brazilian students from High School, with fun and practical activities that will give them a solid foundation in English. The students are going to read about topics that were carefully selected to meet their interests, but are also relevant to understand the world we live in. In every lesson, they will find new vocabulary, language structures and practices to make them more and more competent and confident to speak English. Learning a new language is quite a long road with no shortcuts, but the journey will pay off. It is important to work with a material that promotes engagement, joy and hard work to conquer the final goal. I am with you to make sure that you have a good time while you learn. | Abstract: | A cada dia, mais do que nunca, o inglês está se tornando a língua internacional que reúne pessoas de todas as partes do mundo. Em tempos de globalização, é essencial conhecer a língua franca que possibilita a comunicação em um mundo com tantas línguas e culturas diferentes. Com muito trabalho e dedicação, você também pode se tornar um palestrante. O principal objetivo deste material é auxiliar alunos brasileiros do Ensino Médio, com atividades divertidas e práticas que lhes darão uma base sólida em inglês. Os alunos vão ler sobre temas que foram cuidadosamente selecionados para atender seus interesses, mas também são relevantes para entender o mundo em que vivemos. eles encontrarão novo vocabulário, estruturas linguísticas e práticas para torná-los mais e mais mais competente e confiante para falar inglês. Aprender uma nova língua é bastante longo caminho sem atalhos, mas a jornada valerá a pena.
