O nosso encontro : possibilidades de uma psicoterapia fenomenológico-existencial com casais

Abstract

This monographic study creates reflections on human relations, specifically those related to relationships between couples, as a possible means of experiencing authenticity. With a bibliographical review as a starting point, we contextualize the contemporary social and cultural aspects that can influence the ways that people relate with one another. Elements such as impersonality, superficiality, mismatches and illness will be touched on. This study aims to understand the possible ways of authenticity being in a world of hostilities. We follow on to think about what it means to be legitimate, about the place occupied by love in human life and the characteristics of a deep love relationship. We then reach human relations as a possible pathway to experiencing authenticity, considering beings within the dimensions of the being-in-the-world and being-with-others. Furthermore, a type of phenomenological-existential psychotherapy is chosen for couples, to facilitate a path of choices that are more aware and the construction of true encounters. Through this, we describe the characteristics of the psychotherapeutic encounter in this perspective, along with a description of the conception of existential being and the world of phenomena. The purpose of the discussions proposed in this article is to stimulate the return of our gaze towards the possibilities presented to people within their love lives. We intent to encourage people to rethink their availability for encounters, so that they might discover specific ways of experiences their existential possibilities and draw closer to the deepest parts of themselves.
