| Title: | Corpo, dança e feminilidade na década de 30 |

| Abstract: | O objetivo deste trabalho foi problematizar o ensino da dança em suas perspectivas educacionais no que tange aos processos de socialização e apreensão de conhecimentos integrados à incorporação e à produção de uma cultura corporal feminina na história da primeira escola de dança de Minas Gerais, criada em 1934, em Belo Horizonte. As fontes reunidas para esta pesquisa histórica foi a produção da imprensa local do período: revistas com grande circulação (Revista Alterosa, Revista do Ensino de Minas Gerais), jornais e acervos pessoais. A ambiência do período, os discursos e ideários em circulação sobre a educação feminina, a educação do corpo e o ensino da dança possibilitou uma leitura de motivações para a instauração de uma dada feminilidade. assim, em relação à capital mineira, percebemos que a dança e feminilidade se combinaram desde as primeiras iniciativas de sistematização desta prática. |
| Abstract: | The aim of this work was to discuss the teaching of dance in its educational perspectives regarding the processes of socialization and apprehension of knowledge integrated to the incorporation and production of a female body culture in the history of the first dance school of Minas Gerais, created in 1934, in Belo Horizonte. The sources gathered for this historical research were the production of the local press of the period: magazines with large circulation (Alterosa Magazine, Minas Gerais Teaching Magazine), newspapers and personal collections. The ambience of the period, the discourses and ideas in circulation about female education, body education and dance teaching made it possible to read motivations for the establishment of a given femininity. Thus, regarding the capital of Minas Gerais, we realize that dance and femininity have been combined since the first initiatives to systematize this practice. |
