dc.description.abstract | We analyze the association among ontologies, internet of things (IoT) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) in civil construction. Our study has an exploratory slant presenting a non-exhaustive literature review about the mentioned themes. A survey in Capes Portal using the term “ontolog*” retrieved 402,047 papers, indicating the maturity of the research in that subject; the term “Internet of Things” retrieved 16,023 papers and “Building Information Modeling” retrieved 4,878 papers. The combination of the three aforementioned subjects is also present in the literature. Our paper identifies as potential research the application of ontologies and IoT in the civil construction field, insofar as a building can be simulated through a robust information modeling (using BIM), organized in a structures way (using ontologies) and dynamically monitored (using IoT). | pt_BR |
| pt_BR |
