Abstract: | After the confirmation of the pandemic caused by Covid-19, several companies around the world quickly migrated their employees to the home office. In the pandemic context, this was the way found to protect employees without compromising the work to be delivered by them. Obviously not all positions allow this distance modality. The activities most impacted by the change were those in administrative areas that are normally performed with the help of computers. Behavior is the set of procedures or reactions of the individual to the environment that surrounds him in certain circumstances. Thinking about how remote work can interfere in the environment of an organization, this study aims to analyze the possible impacts that the implementation of the home office can cause in the routine and behavior of employees of a large national mining company. In this context, a survey was carried out with employees from administrative areas who are currently working from home. Six professionals were interviewed, being two leaders and four staffs, all with different ages and family arrangements. Questions involving changes in routine, productivity, main challenges faced and main necessary behavioral changes with the implementation of the home office were used. |
