Hipertensão arterial sistêmica em adultos no município Ouro Verde de Minas: uma proposta de intervenção

Abstract

Experience in the health area , in Ouro Verde de Minas, in recent years, has shown that despite various disclosures and campaigns related to Sistemic Arterial Hypertension (SAH), their risk factors and complications, people with this disease still have great difficulty in control of it. SAH is the most prevalent of all cardiovascular diseases affecting more than 36 million adult Brazilians and is involved in 50 % of deaths from cardiovascular disease. In the territory of the health team coverage are observed many uncontrolled hypertensive patients without proper monitoring and many have not even identified. Knowing the high prevalence of hypertension in adults in the community , the poor control rates, the large number of users with uncontrolled blood pressure levels that overwhelm the daily work , it was necessary to carry out an action planning in preventive , therapeutic and health care. This study aimed to propose an action plan to reduce the incidence of hypertension in adults in the city Ouro Verde de Minas, Minas Gerais. In the course of the project three steps were performed : situation analysis , literature review and drafting of the intervention plan. It was realised a literature review on the topic hypertension, with bibliographical review the type narrative research , considering the journals indexed in Virtual Health Library, the Scientific Electronic Library Online ( SciELO ) and the virtual library collection of NESCON , manuals, guidelines, textbooks and materials offered in the specialization course available in the Agora platform from descriptors hypertension, risk factors for hypertension and intervention. After review was drawn up an action plan based on the Arterial hypertention. The proposals were reorganize the team work process, increase knowledge and public information level , change habits and lifestyles of patients and improve the deals offered by the municipal health system.
