Title: | Sub-20 fs UV spectroscopy to track primary photoinduced processes in thiobases |
Authors: | Danielle Cristina Teles Ferreira Rocio Borrego Varillas Irene Conti Artur Nenov Lucia Ganzer Cristian Manzoni Marco Garavelli Giulio Cerullo Ana Maria de Paula |
Abstract: | Thiobases are studied by transient absorption spectroscopy employing sub-20 fs UV-pulses combined with hybrid QM(CASPT2)/MM(AMBER) computations (static and dynamic) evidencing that intersystem crossing originates from a dark intermediate state along the photoexcited relaxation pathway. |
