| Abstract: | Este artigo analisa as taxas de retenção e de rotatividade dos docentes da Educação Básica nas Redes Municipais de Ensino no Brasil referentes ao período 2015-2016. Tais medidas foram operacionalizadas com base nos microdados do Censo Escolar, tendo considerado os fluxos de entrada e de saída dos professores, de um ano para o outro, nos estabelecimentos educacionais vinculados administrativamente aos municípios. Além dos resultados das taxas de retenção e de rotatividade de todos os municípios do país, foram apresentadas as características dos docentes (sexo, cor/raça, etapa da Educação Básica, tipo de contratação e localização da escola). |
| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the retention and rotation rates of the Basic Education teachers in the Municipal Education networks in Brazil related to the period 2015-2016. These measures were operationalized based on the microdata of the School Census, considering the inflows and outflows of teachers, from one year to the next, in the educational establishments administratively linked to the municipalities. In addition to the results of retention and rotation rates of all municipalities in the country, the characteristics of the teachers (gender, color/race, Basic Education stage, type of hiring and location of the school) were presented. |
