Abstract: | O objetivo dessa pesquisa foi analisar as contribuições das Práticas Integrativas Complementares em Saúde para a qualidade de vida dos trabalhadores. Trata-se de um estudo de revisão narrativa da literatura, que delimitou o período de busca de 2005 a 2020, utilizando-se os seguintes descritores/palavras-chave: terapias complementares, qualidade de vida e trabalho, nos idiomas português, inglês e espanhol. A partir da pergunta do estudo foi realizado o levantamento de publicações incluídas nas bases de dados da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) e também no Google Acadêmico, publicadas no período de quinze anos (2005 a 2020). Foram encontrados mais de 500 estudos e a partir da leitura dos títulos e dos resumos selecionou-se 19 publicações (artigos científicos e trabalhos acadêmicos). A análise dos dados foi realizada de maneira descritiva, realizada a partir das convergências e divergências encontradas nos estudos. Os resultados foram apresentados em um quadro, a fim de sintetizar a produção analisada. Diante dos resultados encontrados é possível afirmar que as Práticas Integrativas Complementares em Saúde têm grande potencial de contribuição para a melhoria qualidade de vida dos trabalhadores, tanto por proporcionar alívio de dores, redução do estresse e outras queixas, como para favorecer o protagonismo desses sujeitos em seu autocuidado. |
Abstract: | The objective of this research was to analyze the contributions of Complementary Integrative Practices in Health to the quality of life of workers. This is a study of narrative literature review, which delimited the search period from 2005 to 2020, using the following descriptors: complementary therapies, quality of life and work, in portuguese, english and spanish. The databases used were: Latin American and Caribbean Literature on Health Sciences; Virtual Health Library/Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicines. Total of 523 studies were found and from reading the titles and abstracts, 19publications were selected (scientific articles and academic works). Data analysis was performed descriptively, based on the convergences and divergences foundin the studies. The results were presented in a table, in order to synthesize the analyzed production. Based on the results found, it is possible to affirm that Complementary Integrative Practices in Health have great potential to contribute to improving the quality of life of workers, both by providing pain relief, reducing stress and other complaints, and by favoring the protagonism of these subjects in your self-care. |
