| Abstract: | Este artigo apresenta uma proposta de caracterização regional da Mesorregião Norte de Minas de Gerais. O objetivo é descrever sobre uma nova representação territorial baseada nas semelhanças e diferenças identificadas na localidade, para isso observam-se as características geográficas, econômicas e culturais existentes. A metodologia utilizada possui abordagem descritiva, embasada em pesquisa bibliográfica e documental sobre a história regional. Isto posto, realizou-se a organização das cidades conforme suas influências, onde evidenciou-se uma proposta de categorias territoriais para a região. |
| Abstract: | This paper presents a proposal for the regional characterization of the Messoregião Norte de Minas de Gerais. The objective is to describe a new territorial representation based on the similarities and differences identified in the locality, for which the existing geographical, economic and cultural characteristics are observed. The methodology used has a descriptive approach, based on bibliographic and documentary research on regional history. That said, the cities were organized according to their influences, where a proposal of territorial categories for the region was evidenced. |
