Abstract:	O propósito desse artigo é pensar como o dandismo pode ser compreendido como uma manifestação de autoficção do artista. Trata-se de analisar a duplicação do ser como expressão do humor melancólico e sintoma do gênio de exceção na modernidade. Pretendese apresentar como a transfiguração do dândi em obra enseja um intermitente ciclo de autodestruição e criação do si, colocando em questão a finitude da vida e a infinitude da arte.
Abstract:	The purpose of this article is to think how dandyism can be understood as a manifestation of the artist’s autofiction. We intend to analyze the duplication of being as an expression of the melancholic mood and symptom of the genius of exception in modernity. It is intended to present as a transfiguration of work in an intermittent cycle of self-destruction and self-creation, in question the finitude of life and the infinity of art.
