dc.description.abstract | Individuals with chronic respiratory diseases have frequent symptoms of dyspnea or shortness of breath, loss of functional and respiratory capacity. Telerehabilitation was a modality implemented for the elderly to remain active during the Covid-19 pandemic. Thus, the aim of this study is to investigate whether telerehabilitation would be able to benefit this population. The literature search was performed in 2022, in the Medline and PEDro databases. As inclusion criteria, they sought studies with individuals with chronic respiratory disease where intervention was applied in the form of telerehabilitation. Five studies were selected for this review. The results showed that a telerehabilitation program with different forms of application positively affects individuals, reducing most of the reported symptoms. Based on the results found in this review, it can be said that, as beneficial as it is, there is still a greater need for studies that explore the other difficulties of applying this program. | pt_BR |
| pt_BR |
