| Abstract: | O artigo aborda uma exposição realizada na biblioteca da UFMG em 2019, reunindo livros que têm o fazer artístico e a história da arte como tema. O sistema da arte é colocado em evidência (e questionado) neste conjunto de obras, que vai desde os convites de exposição e a publicação de discursos oficiais de abertura à uma entrevista fictícia de um jovem artista com um dos mais renomados curadores da atualidade. A arte e os seus diversos agentes são apresentados a partir dos exemplos trazidos pelos livros de artista, que apresentam questões próprias da arte contemporânea, como a crítica institucional. |
| Abstract: | The article addresses an exhibition held at the UFMG library in 2019, bringing together books that have artistic practice and art history as their theme. The art system is highlighted (and questioned) in this set of works, ranging from exhibition invitations and the publication of official opening speeches to a fictional interview by a young artist with one of the most renowned curators today. Art and its various agents are presented based on the examples brought by the artist’s books, which present issues related to contemporary art, such as institutional criticism. |
