| Abstract: | Este estudo realizou uma análise acerca da Sub-representação feminina na política brasileira. O estudo em questão, teve como cenário de pesquisa o município de Nova Serrana, Minas Gerais. Verificou-se que, embora mais de 50% do eleitorado do país seja do sexo feminino, a média de representação feminina na política é de 14%, índice que indica uma desproporcionalidade na representação política no que se refere aos sexos. Considera-se a existência de causas para essas diferenças, sobretudo culturais, como o machismo, preconceito, problemas no sistema e na legislação eleitoral, no financiamento de campanha, dentre outros que prejudicam os direitos sociais da mulher. Acredita-se que, ações como a luta pela aprovação de cadeiras nos parlamentos, o trabalho para conhecimento sobre política, promoção da igualdade de gênero, políticas públicas com o enfoque na educação como forma de empoderamento feminino, são iniciativas capazes de promover maior igualdade em relação a participação política de homens e mulheres no Brasil. |
| Abstract: | This study realized an analysis about the female sub-representation in the brazilian politics. The study in question, had as scenario to research the city of Nova Serrana, Minas Gerais. It was verified that, even more than 50% of electorade of the country is womankind, the middle of female representation in the politics is 14%, number that indicate an disproportionality in the politic representation about the gender. Its consider there are causes for the differences, especially culturals, like the chauvinismo, prejudgement, problems in the laws, campaign financing and others that prejudice the women social rights. Its believe that actions, as the work for the approval of positions in parliament, the work for the knowledge in politics, promotion for the gender iguality, publics politics in the education as female empowerment are ways for to promove more iguality about the politic participation of men and women in the Brasil. |
