| Abstract: | Diante do alto índice de violência a que estão sujeitos os moradores do Bairro Água Branca situado no município de Contagem, mais especificamente no setor de policiamento da 43ª Cia.do 39º Batalhão da Polícia Militar, surgiu a necessidade de se buscar maior conhecimento acerca da aplicação da Segurança Pública na referida região. A partir de informações fornecidas pela Cia. citada, pelo presidente do CONSEP do referido bairro e pelos seus moradores, buscou-se conhecer um pouco mais sobre o Projeto Rede de Vizinhos Protegidos, que se baseia na solidariedade entre os moradores, ou seja, cada cidadão cuidando da segurança do outro e auxiliando à PMMG para maior segurança de todo o bairro. E embora seja um projeto que tem apresentado resultados positivos em vários bairros da RMBH(Região Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte), a Rede ainda se encontra em processo de aperfeiçoamento. Desta forma, este estudo tem por objetivo conhecer mais acerca da implementação, gerenciamento e eficácia do projeto mencionado. |
| Abstract: | In view of the high level of violence faced by residents of the Água Branca neighborhood in the municipality of Contagem, more specifically the policing sector of the 43rd CPA of the 39th BPM, there was a need to know about the functioning of public security in that region. Based on information provided by the 43rd Minas Gerais Military Police Agency, the CONSEP chairman of the said neighborhood and its residents, we sought to know a little more about the Protected Neighbors Network Project, which is based on solidarity among residents, That is, one taking care of the security of the other, assisting the PMMG in the Neighborhood Security. Despite being a Project that has been presenting positive results in several neighborhoods of the RMBH, (Metropolitan Area of Belo Horizonte), the Network is in the process of improvement. This monograph, therefore, carried out a study about the implementation, management and effectiveness of the mentioned project. |
