Em busca de uma “educação para além do capital” e a questão do ensino formal no Brasil

Abstract

The article proposes initial reflections on the ontological question of education, in the context of the relationship between capital and education from the singularity of the Brazilian case, and education as part of a revolutionary process. We start from the discussions of Mészáros and understand education in the sense of human formation itself. We understand schooling, in class society, conditioned by capital and, in this sense, the education of the working-class accompanies the demands of the production process. The analysis of the Brazilian educational system shows that the more precarious the work, the lower the schooling or the quality of the education acquired and the greater the exploitation, however, paradoxically, the extended stay in the school banks does not guarantee work. We conclude that the search for an education beyond capital passes through the refusal to school and the defense of a transformative education linked to the transmutation of productive relations.
