O estilo dos gêneros: uma metodologia de análise

Abstract

French Semiotics and studies of the genre in the Bakhtinian perspective have been associated as two currents that complement each other in investigations on discourse. Semiotics, born of interdisciplinary relations between linguistics, the studies of narrative and philosophy, is also open to enlargements consistent with its theoretical assumptions. Thus, in his conception of the sign as social, Bakhtin is seen as a theoretically useful relationship for studies of the style of the genre, which take into account the recurrence of a way of being of a certain gender in its various achievements. In order to better understand this study path, we did a bibliographic research on the main works of Discini and other researchers who have been adopting this theoretical articulation to identify present concepts and the theoretical-methodological proposal in this perspective. To demonstrate how the proposal can be applied, we analyzed the video-review genre, from three textes collected on the internet. With this research, we recover the main theoretical advances, as well as the challenges of what still needs to be developed theoretically and methodologically in the study of the style of genres
