| Abstract: | As instituições públicas de ensino superior oferecem vagas para candidatos participantes do Exame Nacional de Ensino Médio (ENEM) através do Sistema de Seleção Unificada (Sisu), que é um sistema informatizado gerenciado pelo Ministério da Educação (MEC). O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar o impacto da adoção do Sisu no perfil do corpo discente do Curso Superior de Tecnologia em Radiologia da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). A análise foi realizada observando o desempenho dos alunos na disciplina de física das radiações, antes e depois da adoção do Sisu. No curso de Tecnologia em Radiologia da UFMG, esta disciplina é uma das que apresenta o maior índice de reprovação. Os resultados demonstram que houve uma mudança no perfil discente do curso, com uma melhora significativa do desempenho dos alunos na disciplina. |
| Abstract: | The Unified Selection System (Sisu) is a system of the Ministry of Education, created for candidates who will use the High School National Exam to enter any public institution of higher education. The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of adopting Sisu in the student profile in the Radiology Technology Course of Federal University of Minas Gerais. The analysis was performed by observing the performance of students in the radiation physics discipline, before and after Sisu adoption. The radiation physics discipline is the one that has the highest failure rate of the course. The results showed a change in the student's profile, with a significant improvement of student performance in the discipline. |
