Perspectivas para o lazer dos acompanhantes de internados infantis no contexto hospitalar

Abstract

This research was to analyze the rest of the companions of children interned in the hospital context. The methodology adopted involved the application of questionnaires to 12 volunteer’s escorts of children interned in a hospital unit of Belo Horizonte. The data were analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that leisure can be an instrument of aid for the escape from boredom and idleness and could contribute to the well-being of companion that automatically increases in hospitalized children, because, when the companion feels quiet help the hospital to accept the situation experienced with improves pain and disease. Leisure in the hospital refers to functions utilitaristas and compensation for the condition of children, escorts of admitted being visible contribution to the well-being, relaxation, emotional wear recovery related to treatment, reducing pain, escape from boredom, bouncing on the improvement of children's Hospital. It has also the right to leisure companion while glimpsing the humanization of escorts inside children's inpatient hospital unit. Analyzing the answers of the questionnaire, you can identify some understanding of leisure experiences, how to: escape from boredom and routine. Understood that the rest would be beneficial and that could leave mothers accompanying calmer, and toys or books could help regain health faster. With this experience to conclude that leisure is essential in the recovery of the interned and would alleviate the stress experienced by passengers during the period of hospitalization.
