| Title: | Celebrando a cultura afro-brasileira através da arte: uma proposta educativa antirracista no ensino fundamental |

| Abstract: | O presente trabalho acadêmico tem como objetivo identificar e descrever o ensino de arte no segundo ciclo do ensino fundamental (4º e 5º ano) e avaliar a influência da Lei nº 10.639, homologada em 2003, que instituiu o ensino da história e cultura africana e afro-brasileira na Educação Básica em todo o país. Vinte anos após a homologação dessa Lei, busca-se analisar sua aplicação no contexto do ensino de Arte, levando em consideração a educação para as relações étnico-raciais. Os principais objetivos dessa pesquisa são: discutir a efetividade da Lei 10.639/2003 e suas contribuições para o ensino de Arte no 4º ano do ensino fundamental na Escola Municipal Levindo Lopes; descrever e analisar práticas pedagógicas relacionadas ao ensino de Arte no segundo ciclo do ensino fundamental que promovam uma educação para as relações étnico-raciais e avaliar os efeitos e alcances dessas abordagens no ensino de Arte, considerando a perspectiva dos alunos sobre a temática. Por se tratar de uma pesquisa qualitativa foram investigadas as práticas de ensino de Arte no contexto específico dessa escola. Em seguida foi feita uma análise das práticas pedagógicas adotadas pela professora, com o intuito de compreender como elas contribuem para uma educação que promova a valorização da diversidade étnico-racial. Foram utilizadas metodologias como observação e registro das práticas realizadas em sala, entrevistas com a professora e os alunos. Os dados coletados foram analisados, buscando identificar os efeitos e alcances das abordagens adotadas no ensino de Arte, bem como compreender a percepção dos estudantes em relação ao tema. Espera-se que este estudo contribua para o entendimento da aplicação da Lei 10.639/2003 no ensino de Arte no segundo ciclo do ensino fundamental, além de fornecer conhecimento sobre as práticas pedagógicas que promovem uma educação para as relações étnico-raciais. |
| Abstract: | The present academic work aims to identify and describe the teaching of art in the second cycle of fundamental education (4th and 5th year) and to evaluate the influence of Law nº 10.639, approved in 2003, which instituted the teaching of African and Afro history and culture -Brazilian in Basic Education across the country. Twenty years after the approval of this Law, we seek to analyze its application in the context of teaching Art, taking into account education for ethnic-racial relations. The main objectives of this research are: to discuss the effectiveness of Law 10.639/2003 and its contributions to the teaching of Art in the 4th year of elementary school at the Municipal School Levindo Lopes; describe and analyze pedagogical practices related to art teaching in the second cycle of elementary school that promote education for ethnic-racial relations and evaluate the effects and scope of these approaches in art teaching, considering the students' perspective on the subject. Because it is a qualitative research, the practices of teaching Art were investigated in the specific context of this school. Then, an analysis was made of the pedagogical practices adopted by the teacher, in order to understand how they contribute to an education that promotes the appreciation of ethnic-racial diversity. Methodologies such as observation and recording of practices carried out in the classroom, interviews with the teacher and students were used. The collected data were analyzed, seeking to identify the effects and scope of the approaches adopted in the teaching of Art, as well as to understand the students' perception in relation to the theme. It is hoped that this study will contribute to the understanding of the application of Law 10.639/2003 in the teaching of Art in the second cycle of fundamental education, in addition to providing knowledge about the pedagogical practices that promote an education for ethnic-racial relations. |
