Abstract

Approach the creative process and research in art reflective issues based on the artist's problem in light of his practice, which leads to the development of its own methodology, not always attached to traditional methods and theories. The initial tension in its production can be stimulated by a number of factors. From elements present in its historical-social context, reflections about the artistic production of other times, insights from memories and visual elements arising from is expressed through the creative act. In this process, between idea and matter, new perceptions and inquiries feed the process. Thus, this paper will make reflections about the creative process and also the systemic investigations of the artist in printmaking field.
