| Abstract: | O objetivo desse artigo é contar como a cadeira de gymnastica foi sendo constituída na formação de professoras na Escola Normal Modelo de Belo Horizonte, no período de 1910 a 1918. Especificamente focamos no papel dos sujeitos nessa conformação, através da presença das duas professoras que estiveram à frente da cadeira de gymnastica no período estudado: a professora Aurélia Olintho e a professora Lucia Joviano. Percebe-se que estas atuaram de maneira decisiva na composição de saberes, tempos e espaços da gymnastica. A primeira desenvolveu estratégias de consolidação da disciplina e a segunda mostrou-se uma mediadora importante que, num dado momento, ajudou a realizar uma inflexão surpreendente nos conteúdos da cadeira de gymnastica na formação de professoras. |
| Abstract: | The purpose of this article is to tell how the chair of Gymnastic was constituted as a discipline for teacher’s education at the Normal School Model of Belo Horizonte, from 1910 to 1918. The focus is on the personal role of two teachers who were ahead of the chair of Gymnastic during that period: the teachers Aurelia Olintho and Lucia Joviano. It was observed that those women were decisive for the knowledge, time and space constitution of the Gymnastic chair. The former developed strategies for the discipline consolidation and the later proved to be an important mediator and in a given time helped to reform the contents of that chair in order to change the training of the teachers. |
