| Abstract: | O trabalho apresenta e analisa um conjunto de cartas de Osman Lins dirigidas ao escritor mineiro Murilo Rubião, datadas entre 1965 e 1969, que integram o fundo documental Murilo Rubião no Acervo de Escritores Mineiros da UFMG. O período das cartas coincide com a atividade de Murilo como criador e diretor do Suplemento Literário de Minas Gerais (de 1966 a 1969), e com a escrita de Guerra sem testemunhas, publicado em 1969, livro no qual Osman Lins tematiza e discute o ofício do escritor, tarefa também cara a Murilo Rubião, em especial na sua correspondência com escritores. |
| Abstract: | This paper aims at analysing the set of letters from Osman Lins to Murilo Rubião, which belongs to Murilo Rubião Papers, collection housed by the Archive of Writers at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Written between 1965 and 1969, such letters cover the period of time when Rubião created and directed the Minas Gerais Literary Supplement. By the same time, Osman Lins was writing War Without Witnesses, the book in which his explains and discusses the task of writer, a theme as well endeared to Rubião throughout his career. |
