dc.description.abstract | A vida urbana está repleta de conexões interpessoais que incentivam a cultura, a criatividade e a inovação locais. Segundo o relatório da UNCTAD (2010), o projeto Cidades Criativas da UNESCO visa promover essas conexões através da cultura e da diversidade, gerando o desenvolvimento de grupos culturais, facilitando a troca de ideias, práticas e conhecimentos, possibilitando o crescimento e o desenvolvimento da economia local. O selo cidade criativa é uma credencial para integrar a Rede que dialoga sobre planejamento urbano e desenvolvimento sustentável e inclusivo com ênfase em cultura, conhecimento e inovação. É também um instrumento que cria uma marca para a cidade, incentivando o turismo, entre outras indústrias. Considerando estes requisitos, este artigo pretende analisar os impactos do processo de candidatura em duas cidades: Barcelona (literatura) e Glasgow (música). | pt_BR |
dc.description.resumo | Urban life is full of interpersonal connections which encourage local culture, creativity and innovation. According to the UNCTAD report (2010), UNESCO's Creative Cities project aims to promote these connections through culture and diversity, generating the development of cultural groups, facilitating the exchange of ideas, practices and knowledge, enabling the growth and development of the local economy. The creative city label is a credential to integrate the Network that dialogues about urban planning and sustainable and inclusive development with emphasis on culture, knowledge and innovation. It is also an instrument that creates a brand for the city, encouraging tourism, among other industries.
