dc.description.abstract	Objective: to provoke researchers in the field of studies of human activity about the limits of modern science that hinder the production of knowledge that reflects the root of social problems. Synthesis of the study's elements: the song Quero Saber by Gilberto Gil was used as a stylistic resource to indicate the need for Historical Materialism as a means to produce scientific knowledge that implies the real and necessary emancipation of humanity. Conclusion: researchers are members of the working class, it would not be up to us, therefore, to be the conservative intellectuals of a class to which we do not belong.	pt_BR
dc.description.resumo	Objetivo: provocar pesquisadores e pesquisadoras do campo dos estudos da atividade humana sobre os limites da ciência moderna que obstaculizam a produção de um conhecimento que traduza a raiz dos problemas sociais. Síntese dos elementos do estudo: a canção Queremos Saber de Gilberto Gil foi utilizada como um recurso estilístico para indicar a necessidade do Materialismo Histórico como meio para produzir um conhecimento científico que implique na real e necessária emancipação da humanidade. Conclusão: pesquisadores são membros da classe trabalhadora, portanto, não nos caberia ser os intelectuais conservadores de uma classe à qual não pertencemos.	pt_BR
