| Title: | Uma nota sobre o risco de contágio, perfil dos trabalhadores e a pandemia de COVID-19 no Brasil |

| Abstract: | Este artigo investiga o perfil dos trabalhadores por risco de contágio nas atividades econômicas e suas interfaces com a contaminação por COVID-19. Utilizando a PNAD COVID19 e outras fontes, empregou-se análises descritivas, taxas de ocorrência e razões de sexo. Verificou-se 5,7 milhões de trabalhadores em atividades com alto risco de contágio, com predomínio de mulheres, brancos e pessoas entre 20 e 50 anos. Quanto maior o risco de contágio da atividade econômica, maior foi a proporção de trabalhadores com sintomas de síndrome gripal, sendo mais predominante entre mulheres e negros. Esse perfil é similar ao dos contaminados por COVID-19: mulheres, entre 30 e 60 anos. |
| Abstract: | This article investigates the profile of workers at risk of contagion in economic activities and their interfaces with COVID-19 contamination. Using the PNAD COVID19 and other sources, descriptive analyses, occurrence rates and sex ratios were used. There were 5.7 million workers in activities with a high risk of contagion, with a predominance of women, white people and people between 20 and 50 years old. The greater the risk of contagion from economic activity, the greater the proportion of workers with flu-like symptoms, being more prevalent among women and black people. This profile is similar to that of those infected by COVID-19: women, between 30 and 60 years old. |
