| Abstract: | Os procedimentos de transplantes de fígado têm aumentado no Brasil, sendo a única alternativa para pacientes com doenças hepáticas crônicas. O objetivo foi estimar a sobrevida dos 7.345 pacientes adultos que realizaram transplante de fígado no SUS no período entre janeiro de 2001 e dezembro de 2011. Para tanto, a técnica de pareamento probabilístico foi utilizada. A curva de sobrevivência foi estimada por Kaplan-Meier, e foi estimado também o modelo de riscos proporcionais de Cox. As taxas de sobrevida estimadas foram menores do que as oficiais da Associação Brasileira de Transplante de Órgãos, e de estudos nacionais e internacionais. |
| Abstract: | Liver transplant procedures have increased in Brazil, being the only alternative for patients with chronic liver diseases. The objective was to estimate the survival of 7,345 adult patients who underwent liver transplantation in the SUS between January 2001 and December 2011. To this end, the probabilistic matching technique was used. The curve Survival rates were estimated by Kaplan-Meier, and the Cox proportional hazards model was also estimated. The estimated survival rates were lower than the official rates from the Brazilian Association of Organ Transplantation, and from national and international studies. |
