Abstract: | Objetivo:As mudanças na dinâmica do mundo laboral esbarraram em certos limites do ser humano, trazendo o imperativo de estudos sobre temas como o estresse, em especial, aquele decorrente do trabalho. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar como se configura o estresse ocupacional de jovens trabalhadores assistidos pelo ES-PRO (Ensino Social Profissionalizante) da cidade de Belo Horizonte (MG), nos anos de 2010 e 2019.Método/abordagem:A pesquisa é descritivo-quantitativa, através de estudo de caso. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de questionários estruturados e os dados foram submetidos à Análise Fatorial Exploratória e comparação de medianas.Contribuições teóricas/práticas/sociais: O estresse ocupacional percebido pelos jovens abordados em 2010 era maior do que o demonstrado em 2019. Apesar da instabilidade na situação política e econômica do Brasil nos últimos anos, os dados indicam que os jovens estão menos estressados do que antes.Originalidade/relevância:Dentre os construtos estudados, houve melhora na saúde mental, na saúde física e nos fatores de pressão e insatisfação e houve, ainda, diminuição do uso de estratégias de combate ao estresse, enquanto a propensão ao estresse desses jovens se manteve equilibrada. |
Abstract: | Purpose:The changes on the dynamics of the working world and have met certain limits of the human being, bringing the imperative of studies on topics such as stress, especially that arising from work. This research aimed to analyze how the occupational stress of young workers assisted by ESPRO (Vocational Social Education) in the city of Belo Horizonte (MG) in 2010 and 2019 is configured. Design/methodology/approach:The research is descriptive-quantitative research through of case study. Data collection was performed through structured question-naires and the data were submitted to Exploratory Factor Analysis and comparison of medians.Research, Practical & Social implications: The occupational stress perceived by the youth approached in 2010 was higher than that shown in 2019. Despite the instability in Brazil's political and economic situation in recent years, the data indicate that young people are less stressed than before.Originality/value:Among the studied constructs, there was an improvement in mental health, physical health and in the factors of pressure and dissatisfaction, and there was also a decrease in the use of strategies to combat stress, while the stress propensity of these young people remained balanced. |
