| Abstract: | Durante a vigência dos regimes ditatoriais no Brasil (1964-84) e na Argentina (1976 a 1983) brasileiros considerados subversivos ou opositores ao regime foram vigiados, presos, torturados e assassinados. Os familiares e amigos das vítimas empreenderam longos percursos, nos dois países, em busca de informações. O objetivo desse artigo é reconstituir esses percursos, desde as primeiras denúncias até o registro dos repressores impresso nos testemunhos e documentos encontrados em arquivos brasileiros e argentinos e publicados nos relatórios das comissões de verdade. A metodologia adotada consiste no estudo de dossiês documentais sobre seis casos de brasileiros desaparecidos na Argentina, durante a ditadura. A pesquisa de campo foi realizada nos seguintes arquivos: Arquivo Nacional da Memória e Arquivo DIPBA (na Argentina) e Arquivo Nacional (no Brasil). A conclusão principal da pesquisa é que a documentação e os testemunhos, guardados nos arquivos, vem sendo apropriados e resignificados pelos distintos grupos sociais (provenientes do aparato repressivo ou vinculados à resistência a ditadura) na construção de narrativas que estão em disputa nos contextos de justiça transicional. |
| Abstract: | During the term of the dictatorial regimes in Brazil (1964-84) and Argentina (1976-1983) Brazilian considered subversive or opponents of the regime were monitored, arrested, tortured and murdered. Relatives and friends of the victims undertook long journeys in both countries, in search of information. The aim of this paper is to reconstruct these routes from the first complaints to the printed records in the documents produced by the repressive apparatus, found in Brazilian and Argentine files and published in the reports of the truth commissions. The methodology is the study of documentary dossiers on six cases of missing Brazilians in Argentina during the dictatorship. The field research was conducted in the following files: National Archive of Memory and DIPBA file (in Argentina) and the National Archives (in Brazil). The main conclusion of the research is that the documentation and testimony, stored in the archives, has been appropriate and interpreted by different social groups (from the repressive apparatus or linked to resistance to dictatorship) in the construction of narratives that are in dispute in transitional justice settings. |
