| Abstract: | O presente artigo visa analisar criticamente a exposição Atlântico Vermelho, da artista Rosana Paulino, realizada entre outubro e dezembro de 2017, no Padrão dos Descobrimentos, monumento situado em Lisboa, Portugal. Para tanto, toma-se o conceito de Impulso Historiográfico, apresentado por Giselle Beiguelman (2019), como uma noção de prática artística que questiona e reedita as verdades absolutas instituídas nos circuitos institucionais e a monumentalização da história. Tal conceito deve ser trabalhado em processos de (re)interpretação dos bens pertencentes à categoria do patrimônio cultural, em especial os monumentos históricos, sobre os quais atua a artista Rosana Paulino. Como suporte crítico, a crítica feminista decolonial é acionada. |
| Abstract: | This paper critically analyzes the exhibition Atlântico Vermelho, by the artist Rosana Paulino, held between october and december 2017, at Padrão dos Descobrimentos, a monument located in Lisbon, Portugal. Therefore, the concept of Historiographical Impulse, presented by Giselle Beiguelman (2019), is taken as a notion of artistic practice that questions and reissues as absolute truths in institutional circuits and in the monumentalization of history. This concept must be worked on processes of cultural heritage properties (re)interpretation, especially historical monuments, on which artist Rosana Paulino works. Decolonial feminist criticism is used as a critical basis. |
