Automação do processo de emissão de diploma: um estudo baseado nas novas portarias do MEC

Abstract

Institutions from various segments carry out numerous initiatives to explore new technologies. In the context of higher education institutions (IES), most universities have not yet adopted such technologies in order to transform their processes. Technological progress has brought, in addition to benefits, some problems. The issuance of diplomas in HEIs, the object of study of this article, for example, is manually operationalized, from their application until their issuance, which promotes the increase of cases of forgery. This shows that HEIs have a real challenge. Given this scenario, the Ministry of Education - MEC, to combat counterfeiting and modernize access to technology, published the ordinances: 315 and 330 April 2018 and 554 March 2019 which imposes a deadline to adapt to the requirements contained therein by April. 2021. Thus, this article, the result of the first inferences of the Masters research in Knowledge Management and Organization ECI/UFMG, aims to present a digital business platform model through the planning, mapping, specification and implementation of the process. issuing diplomas in a public IES: at the UFMG School of Information Science, with the help of a digital business platform, and based on the ordinances. As this is an ongoing research, the implementation has no definitive results, but it is expected that the study will highlight the steps for the construction of the model, initially thought for the process of diplomas, and thus contribute to the digital transformation, efficiency and effectiveness in other universities.
