| Abstract: | Este artigo busca apresentar os sentidos que estudantes negras e não negras atribuem ao Grupo de Estudos Ações Afirmativas (GEAA). O GEAA é uma das ações realizadas pelo Programa Ações Afirmativas na Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). Deste modo, por meio das narrativas históricas de suas/seus integrantes, buscamos compreender a importância deste tipo de aquilombamento acadêmico. Os diálogos realizados pelo GEAA apontam em direção à futuridade das lutas antirracistas, pois as sujeitas, com as quais dialogamos, protagonizam, em diferentes espaços formativos, o seu compromisso ético e político frente às desigualdades sociorraciais. |
| Abstract: | This article seeks to present the meanings that black and non-black students attribute to the Affirmative Action’s Study Group (GEAA). The GEAA is one of the actions carried out by the Affirmative Action’s Program at UFMG. In this way, through the historical narratives of its members, we seek to understand the importance of this type of academic settlement. The dialogues carried out reveal that GEAA points towards the futurity of anti-racist struggles, as the subjects with whom we dialogue carry out their ethical and political commitment in the face of socio-racial inequalities in different training spaces. |
