| Abstract: | Trata-se de recomendações de especialistas, reunidos pelo Ministério da Saúde, para mulheres grávidas ou lactantes que tenha sido infectadas com Mpox, também conhecida como varíola do macaco. O artigo define as características da Mpox, de acordo com as informações disponíveis até o momento de publicação. Apresenta também orientações para identificação da doença em mulheres grávidas e lactantes. |
| Abstract: | These are expert recommendations, brought together by the Ministry of Health, for pregnant or breastfeeding women who have been infected with Mpox, also known as monkeypox. The article defines the characteristics of Mpox, according to the information available at the time of publication. It also presents guidelines for identifying the disease in pregnant and lactating women. |
