| Abstract: | A presente pesquisa teve por finalidade contribuir para a compreensão do papel das cores na construção da narrativa fílmica animada. Para isso, analisa as possíveis funções das cores em filmes de animação, tendo como base a compreensão da teoria das cores e suas relações com a realidade diegética, em especial na animação Guida (2014), da animadora brasileira Rosana Urbes. A partir de uma revisão bibliográfica sobre a teoria das cores e sua possível inserção no cinema, e apoiado numa abordagem qualitativa da análise fílmica, foi possível mapear algumas das funções das cores em dezesseis animações nacionais e internacionais para, então, estabelecer uma análise mais detalhada do emprego das cores no curta animado Guida (2014). Como resultado, foi possível observar, entre outros aspectos, que as cores podem assumir uma gama de funções comunicativas, contribuindo de forma significativa com o desenvolvimento da narrativa fílmica em produções animadas. |
| Abstract: | This research aimed to contribute to understanding the role of colors in the construction of animated film narratives. To this end, it analyzes the possible functions of colors in animated films, based on the understanding of color theory and its relationship with diegetic reality, especially in the animation Guida (2014), by Brazilian animator Rosana Urbes. Based on a bibliographic review of color theory and its possible insertion in cinema, and supported by a qualitative approach to films analysis, it was possible to map some of the functions of colors in sixteen national and international animations in order to establish a more detailed analysis of the use of colors in the animated short Guida (2014). As a result, it was possible to observe, among other aspects, that colors can assume a range of communicative functions, contributing significantly to the development of film narrative in animated productions. |
