Violência sexual e outras formas nas regionais de saúde do estado de alagoas

Abstract

Brazil has high rates of violence, especially physical, sexual and against women. Violence is result of the interaction of several factors, such as individual, relationship, social, cultural, economic and environmental reasons, thus there is no single factor that justifies the individual's motive present such behavior and even define the occurrence as greater in some communities than others. This can also occur at different stages (cycles) of life. One of the biggest challenges to reduce violence for public health, is to understand how these risk factors are related. It is considered a socio-historical phenomenon, which strongly affects health; reduces the quality of life of people and communities; requires a readjustment of the organization traditional health services; poses new problems for preventive or curative and highlights the need for much more specific, interdisciplinary, multi-professional, inter-sectoral and engaged sector, targeting the needs of citizens. We investigated the problem of violence. Identify the distribution of Violence in the Health Regions of the State of Alagoas. Highlight the health regions of Alagoas, regarding the notification of violence against women. Identify the types of violence reported in the Disease and Notification Information System – SINAN. Analyze which types of violence are most reported in the State of Alagoas. We use data of the National Disease Notification System (SINAN), to investigate violence during the 2009 to 2016. The main forms of violence were: physical violence, (13,643); violence psychological/moral (1,488); sexual violence (1,232); Rape (1,037); torture (256); negligence/abandonment (212); financial violence (90); child labor violence (83) and other violence (35). The age group most affected in the State of Alagoas are among women aged 20 to 29; 30 to 39 and 15 to 19 years old. The state, at over the years, has shown high values ​​for various types of violence, showing a challenge for confrontation by health and safety managers. Assist in decision making for the confronting violence.
