| Abstract: | O objetivo desse artigo é o de refletir sobre as narrativas da medicina e fisioterapia esportiva para dar sentido a dores e lesões nos corpos de atletas de futebol. Para tal realizamos a análise de dois consensos e um protocolo – Consensos de Doha e Munique, e do Protocolo FIFA11+ – aos quais fomos apresentados em uma palestra de fisioterapeutas esportivos de um grande time de futebol da capital paulista. Fundamentados nesses documentos e nos dados coletados na palestra, exploramos as relações de poder e os conflitos entre alguns atores do campo esportivo na tentativa de propor uma classificação e uma sensação legítima de dor e de lesão nos corpos dos atletas. Concluímos que, através da linguagem legítima e autorizada, os discursos sobre a dor e a lesão adquirem um estatuto de verdade, enquadrando os atletas a experimentarem sua condição de sujeito, quando lesionados, em uma das categorias construídas pelos consensos. |
| Abstract: | The aim of this article is to reflect upon the narratives of sports physiotherapist and doctors to make sense of pain and injuries in the soccer player’s bodies. Therefore, based on the analysis of two consensus and one protocol – Doha and Munich Consensus, and the FIFA 11+ Protocol – all of which were presented in a conference held by the physiotherapists of one of the most traditional soccer squad of São Paulo city, our intention is to explore the power relations and conflicts among some of the actors involved in the sports field. In this way we wish to reveal the struggle among these actors to classify and legitimate pain and injury suffered by the athletes’ bodies. In conclusion we point out that through an authorized and legitimatized language the discourses about pain and injury acquire a statement of truth that subjects the athletes to submit into one of the categories produced by the consensus. |
