| Abstract: | Este artigo situa o Antropoceno como uma época de perigos e incertezas que exige um posicionamento da educação em ciências. No sentido de contribuir para o enfrentamento das questões e problemas complexos colocados em evidência pelo Antropoceno, apresentamos a noção transdisciplinar das Humanidades Científicas, de Bruno Latour. Em seguida, evidenciamos alguns elementos do Jardim Mandala, situado na Faculdade de Educação da UFMG, e argumentamos que este jardim tem um potencial educacional inspirador para o exercício de uma Educação em Humanidades Científicas. Mais do que um programa educacional bem estabelecido, o que deixamos aqui são notas para se imaginar novos gestos educacionais e desenvolvimentos futuros. |
| Abstract: | This paper places the Anthropocene as a time of hazards and uncertainties that demand a position of science education. To contribute to the confrontation of complex issues and problems imposed by the Anthropocene, we present Bruno Latour's transdisciplinary notion of Scientific Humanities. Next, we highlight some elements of Jardim Mandala, located at the Faculty of Education of UFMG, and we argue that this garden has an inspiring educational potential for the exercise of Education in Scientific Humanities. More than a well established educational program, what we leave here are notes for imagining new educational gestures and future developments. |
