Aplicação da análise rítmica às variações de chuva e temperatura na região de Belo Horizonte (MG): os meses de julho e novembro de 2017

Abstract

Different weather and climate conditions have a direct influence on the organization of human activities and the dynamics of natural processes. Considering this fact, the objective of this article was to analyze the variation of climate elements in Belo Horizonte and adjacent areas during the months of July and November 2017, characterized by strong deviations in the variation of atmospheric elements. The methodological procedures included data from meteorological stations, satellite images and synoptic charts. The Excel and ArcGIS programs were used to prepare the graphs and maps, respectively. The results showed that the action of the Atlantic Polar Mass and the South Atlantic Convergence Zone, together with surface factors (mainly topography), has a direct influence on the variation of climate elements, amplifying or attenuating their effects on the surface.
