| Abstract: | A região da Apa Carste de Lagoa Santa, localizada a norte da Região Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte, é conhecida por suas belas paisagens naturais, tendo destacada geomorfologia, feições cársticas, além de seus sítios paleontológicos, sendo uma área com predominância geológica carbonática. A bacia hidrográfica do Rio das Velhas, pertencente à bacia do rio São Francisco, está inserida na APA; e a área de estudo engloba seis sub-bacias, os respectivos córregos: Jaque, Samambaia, Palmeira, Jaguara, Gordura e Flor. Nesse contexto, foram usados como método diagramas de frequência com as correlações estatísticas de cada categoria (Dolina, Maciço e Dolina-Maciço), ademais, o software Qgis para um levantamento a fim de analisar as relações entre as morfologias cársticas (depressões cársticas e maciços) através dos shapes da área. Logo, obteve-se a estatística, as depressões cársticas representam 70,0% e os maciços representam 52,4% das ocorrências totais, indicando um estágio avançado de dissolução do terreno. Portanto, concluiu-se que a presença de maciços rochosos está diretamente relacionada com a ocorrência de depressões cársticas na Área de Proteção Ambiental (APA) Carste de Lagoa Santa, com seu alto desenvolvimento cárstico. Desse modo, através das análises estatísticas, conseguimos quantificar e observar essas relações hidrogeológicas e geomorfológicas da região, proporcionando, assim, uma melhor compreensão da área estudada, o que contribui para uma melhor proteção e preservação desses ambientes, quanto a regiões mais susceptíveis a contaminação. |
| Abstract: | The region of the Lagoa Santa Karst APA, located north of the Belo Horizonte Metropolitan Region, is known for its beautiful natural landscapes, with outstanding geomorphology, karst features, and paleontological sites, being an area with a predominance of carbonate geology. The Rio das Velhas hydrographic basin, belonging to the São Francisco River basin, is included in the APA; and the study area encompasses six sub-basins, the respective streams: Jaque, Samambaia, Palmeira, Jaguara, Gordura, and Flor. In this context, frequency diagrams with the statistical correlations of each category (Dolina, Massif, and Dolina-Massif) were used as a method, in addition, the Qgis software for a survey in order to analyze the relationships between the karst morphologies (karst depressions and massifs) through the shapes of the area. Therefore, the statistics obtained show that karst depressions represent 70.0% and massifs represent 52.4% of the total occurrences, indicating an advanced stage of land dissolution. Therefore, it was concluded that the presence of rock massifs is directly related to the occurrence of karst depressions in the Lagoa Santa Karst Environmental Protection Area (APA), with its high karst development. Thus, through statistical analyses, we were able to quantify and observe these hydrogeological and geomorphological relationships in the region, thus providing a better understanding of the studied area, which contributes to better protection and preservation of these environments, as regards regions more susceptible to contamination. |
