| Abstract: | This study presents the recharge rate values for the aquifer units in the western flank of the Sinclinal Moeda, in the Quadrilátero Ferrífero region, Minas Gerais, Brazil. For this purpose, seventeen flow monitoring instruments distributed in the study area were analyzed, covering a data period from October 1999 to October 2019. Using the Thiessen polygon method with the aid of rainfall stations, the VU Smakhtin (2001) methodology was applied to calculate the infiltration rate in the main aquifer units of the western flank, based on Mourão (2007) classification. Thus, minimum, mean, and maximum values were obtained for groundwater recharge in the Moeda (3%, 18%, and 46%), Cauê (9%, 26%, and 49%), Gandarela (18%, 28%, and 45%), and Itacolomi (6%, 15%, and 44%) aquifers. |
| Abstract: | Este estudo apresenta os valores de taxa de recarga para as unidades aquíferas do flanco oeste do Sinclinal Moeda, na região do Quadrilátero Ferrífero, Minas Gerais, Brasil. Para tanto, foram analisados dezessete instrumentos de monitoramento de vazão dispersos na área de estudo, que compreendiam um período de dados entre outubro de 1999 a outubro de 2019. Com auxílio das estações pluviométricas, elaboração dos polígonos de Thiessen, foi possível utilizar a metodologia de VU Smakhtin (2001) para calcular a taxa de infiltração nas principais unidades aquíferas do flanco oeste, com auxílio da classificação de Mourão (2007). Dessa forma, obteve-se valores mínimos, médios e máximos para a recarga subterrânea para os aquíferos Moeda (3%, 18% e 46%), Cauê (9%, 26% e 49%), Gandarela (18%, 28%, 45%) e Itacolomi (6%, 15% e 44%). |
