| Abstract: | O presente trabalho tem por objetivo verificar como a pandemia da COVID-19 ea falta de políticas públicas específicas impactaram negativamente a Educaçãode Jovens e Adultos. Para realizar esta verificação, acompanhamos um grupode estudantes que ingressou no 1º ano do Ensino Médio, em 2020, até o 3ºano, em 2022, mapeando, continuamente, aproveitamento, frequência,participação, abandono dos estudantes desse grupo. Ao final dessa etapaescolar, apenas 22% dos sujeitos que estavam matriculados na turma em fococoncluiu o Ensino Médio. Esses dados constituem forte evidência do quanto apandemia afetou os sujeitos da EJA e, consequentemente, acentuou asdesigualdades, sobretudo, pela falta de ação do Estado. |
| Abstract: | The present work aims to verify how the COVID-19 pandemic and the lack ofspecific public policies negatively impacted Youth and Adult Education. To carryout this verification, we accompanied a group of students who entered the 1styear of high school, in 2020, until the 3rd year, in 2022, continuously mappingthe achievement, frequency, participation, dropout of students in this group. Atthe end of this school stage, only 22% of the subjects who were enrolled in thefocus group managed to complete high school. These data are strong evidenceof how much the pandemic affected the subjects of EJA and, consequently,accentuated inequalities, above all, due to the lack of action by the State. |
