dc.description.abstractAmong the benefits of open access to scientific information are greater visibility of research and its use by any citizen, which ultimately promotes feedback and the development of science. Since its inception, the open access to information movement, or Open Access, has created global initiatives to strengthen Universal Access to Information. (IBICT 20164. Research institutions, as producers and consumers of scientific information, have joined these initiatives, contributing to the movement for open access to scientific communication.pt_BR
