| Abstract: | Os medicamentos com embalagens semelhantes podem constituir um fator de confusão para os profissionais envolvidos no processo assistencial, podendo resultar em danos graves e comprometendo a segurança do paciente hospitalizado1 . A implantação de medidas para a redução de danos graves evitáveis está em consonância com as políticas nacionais e diretrizes internacionais de segurança nos processos assistenciais, como o 3º Desafio Global de Segurança do Paciente, proposto pela Organização Mundial da Saúde. |
| Abstract: | Medicines with similar packaging can be confusing for professionals involved in the healthcare process, which can result in serious harm and compromise the safety of hospitalized patients. 1 The implementation of measures to reduce avoidable serious harm is in line with national policies and international guidelines for safety in healthcare processes, such as the 3rd Global Patient Safety Challenge, proposed by the World Health Organization. |
