Estudo comparativo entre sistemas de vedação: drywall x tijolos cerâmicos

Abstract

The present work presented a comparative study between vertical sealing systems being the target of drywall scope and conventional masonry of ceramic bricks. As the basis of the dissertation, materials from a work being carried out in the city of Belo Horizonte that presents the two verified systems were used. Delimiting the theme to the advantages and disadvantages of opting for the use of the constructive system in drywall compared to the conventional sealing system for reinforced concrete structures. This study aims to identify the main points for service composition in addition to labor and material and compute such data to generate information about which type of seal can be used. Analyze the advantages and disadvantages of using these systems; understand the possible difficulties in designing with industrialized systems and possible pathologies; Comparative cost analysis. The results found for the comparison between the sealing system state that in terms of cost the two systems are quite similar, but there are other guidelines that influence the decision- making to choose a particular type of gap closure. This study brought the demystification that the drywall system is inaccessible, as it is quite similar to conventional masonry.
