| Abstract: | A dissertação investiga dois filmes mineiros contemporâneos, A Vizinhança do Tigre (Affonso Uchôa, 2014) e Kevin (Joana Oliveira, 2021) sob a ótica dos procedimentos narrativos e de linguagem que os colocam numa perspectiva entre os campos do documentário e da ficção. Por meio de um processo de realização compartilhada, que subverte as formas tradicionais de produção, as obras não seguiram roteiros convencionais, foram realizadas em mais de uma etapa de gravação – com longa distância entre elas – e passaram por períodos de montagem e elaboração da narrativa durante o percurso das filmagens. O trabalho de construção política e estética aparece nos filmes na forma de se compor a relação entre os cineastas e os protagonistas, e entre estes e o espectador. |
| Abstract: | The dissertation investigates two contemporary films from Minas Gerais, Brazil: A Vizinhança do Tigre (Affonso Uchôa, 2014) and Kevin (Joana Oliveira, 2021) looking at the narrative and language procedures that place them in a perspective between documentary and fiction. Through a shared working process, which subverts traditional forms of production, the pictures did not follow conventional scripts, were made in more than one recording stage – with a long distance between them – and went through periods of editing and narrative elaboration during the shooting course. The political and aesthetic construction appears in the films structured in the relationship between the filmmakers and the protagonists, and between them and the spectator. |
