| Abstract: | Objetivou-se, no presente trabalho, descrever o curso clínico de crianças portadoras de rim displásico multicístico unilateral (RDM), abordadas de forma conservadora e acompanhadas prospectivamente, além de avaliar a progressão ultrassonográfica do rim afetado e da sua unidade contralateral. Espera-se que os resultados deste estudo possam somar e contribuir para a definição de uma estratégia efetiva e baseada em evidências científicas na abordagem ao RDM |
| Abstract: | The aim of this study was to describe the clinical course of children with unilateral multicystic dysplastic kidney (MDR) treated conservatively and followed prospectively, in addition to evaluating the ultrasonographic progression of the affected kidney and its contralateral unit. It is expected that the results of this study can add to and contribute to the definition of an effective and evidence-based strategy for approaching MDR. |
