| Abstract: | Esta dissertação desenvolve um estudo sobre as Ressonâncias léxicoestruturais no discurso conversacional em português, dentro da perspectiva teórica funcionalista de estudos lingüísticos. É considerado ressoante um enunciado produzido por um falante com base numa Matriz um outro enunciado previamente proferido pelo interlocutor, num evento comunicativo. Trata-se da segunda ocorrência de um segmento frasal, que mantém o mesmo padrão estrutural de sua Matriz e pode reaparecer sem variações ou com alterações lexicais. O objetivo geral do trabalho é investigar os aspectos formais e funcionais de orações ressoantes. Partindo da hipótese de que alguns tipos formais de Ressonâncias relacionam-se intimamente às suas funções discursivas, desenvolve-se a análise, que consiste em descrever as Ressonâncias constatadas em quatro textos de conversação espontânea. Primeiramente, identificam-se as Matrizes e Ressonâncias e verifica-se a freqüência desses enunciados nos textos do corpus. Em seguida, classificam-se as Ressonâncias de acordo com a função que exercem na conversação, levando-se em conta aspectos argumentativos e interacionais. Após contagem e classificação das funções discursivas, faz-se a descrição formal dos enunciados ressoantes juntamente com suas Matrizes, buscando observar se há tipos estruturais mais recorrentes e quais são eles. Procede-se, a seguir, para a análise da correlação entre os aspectos formal e funcional das Ressonâncias. Para tanto, apresentam-se os mapeamentos transentenciais. Mapeamentos são a representação da relação entre dois ou mais enunciados proferidos por falantes diferentes, em que é possível estabelecer uma correspondência biunívoca entre os elementos que os constituem. Essa análise permite visualizar os tipos formais explorados pelos falantes para a construção de Ressonâncias com funções discursivas específicas e, conseqüentemente, verificar a hipótese inicial de que existem tendências sistemáticas de uso dos falantes ao ressoarem enunciados. |
| Abstract: | This paper develops a study about the lexical-structural resonance in the portuguese conversational discourse, within the functionalistic theory of the linguistic studies. It is considered resonant any utterance produced by a speaker based in a matrix another utterance previously said by the speaker, in a communicative event. The second occurrence happens to be a phrasal segment, which keeps the same structural pattern of its matrix and can reoccur without any variations or with some lexical alterations. The objective of this paper is to investigate the formal and functional functions of resonant sentences. Having the fact that some types of formal resonance are closely related with their discourse functions as a theory, an analysis, consisting of a description of the resonance present in texts of spontaneous conversations is developed. Firstly, the matrix and resonance are identified, as well as their frequency in the texts of the corpus. Secondly, the resonances are classified according to their function in the conversation, considering the argumentative and interactive aspects. After counting and classifying the discourse functions, a formal description of the resonant utterances along with their matrix is made in order to identify and observe the frequency of the more recurrent ones. It is followed by an analysis of the correlation between the formal and functional aspects of the resonance. In order to achieve that, the transentencial maps are presented. The maps are the representations of the correlation between two or more utterances said by different speakers where it is possible to establish a bilateral correspondence among the elements which constitute the utterances. Such analysis allows the visualization of the formal types explored by the speakers in order to construct the resonance with specific discourse functions and consequently verify the initial hypothesis which says that there are systematic tendencies of usage by the speakers when they resound utterances. |
