| Abstract: | No presente trabalho, analisa-se a fala da comunidade de Ouro Preto/MG, com o objetivo de verificar se, na fala dos nascidos e/ou domiciliados nessa cidade (doravante, Ouro-pretanos), há interferência da fala de estudantes da Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (UFOP); mais especificamente, verificar se os itens lexicais utilizados por esses estudantes (aqui referidos como Universitários) estão presentes, também, no léxico dos Ouro-pretanos. Parte-se da hipótese de que essa interferência existe, em virtude do contato estabelecido entre os dois grupos de falantes mencionados e que, desse contato, resulta uma variação, que pode estar apontando para mudanças lexicais. Em vista disso, analisa-se um corpus constituído de 223 dados, extraídos de 16 (dezesseis) entrevistas, gravadas, realizadas com 8 (oito) Ouropretanos e 8 (oito) Universitários, nos moldes da Teoria da Variação. O levantamento dos dados orientou essa análise para duas direções: o inventário das formas especiais encontradas na fala dos Universitários, cujo uso foi relacionado ao curso, ao período e ao gênero desses falantes, foi analisado qualitativa e quantitativamente; os dados registrados na fala dos Ouro-pretanos, por se mostrarem em número reduzido (11 ocorrências), foram submetidos apenas a uma análise qualitativa. Os resultados obtidos através dessas análises apontam uma adoção não-significativa das formas especiais pelos Ouro-pretanos, do gênero masculino, que estabelecem um grau de contato intenso com os Universitários. Tais conclusões suscitaram hipóteses para a explicação da não-interferência da linguagem estudantil na fala do outro grupo, entre as quais, parece mais plausível a de uma possível hostilidade da população de Ouro Preto em relação aos estudantes da UFOP, nãoreconhecidos por essa população como dela sendo integrantes. Os resultados revelam, portanto, que uma situação de contato nem sempre tem como conseqüência a configuração de casos de variação lingüística. |
| Abstract: | In this work is analyzed the spoken language of the community from Ouro Preto MG, and the objective is to verify if there are in the oral production of natives and/or domiciled in this city (now Ouro-pretanos) some interferences caused by students language of UniversidadeFederal de Ouro Preto (now University Students). In specific, if the lexical items used by these students are presented in the lexicon of Ouro-pretanos. It is assumed the hypothesis that this interference is current owing to the contact established between the two groups, and bythis contact results the variation that can indicate some lexical changes. The corpus of 223 data was extracted from 16-recorded interviews with 8 Ouro-pretanos and 8 University Students according to the principles of the Variation Theory. The results guide the analysis for two directions: an inventory about the special forms found in the University Students spoken language, which the use of these forms was related to graduation course, period and gender by, qualitative and statistic analysis of the data; the data presented in the Ouro-pretanosspoken language were a reduced number (11 occurrences) and by this way they were analyzed only qualitatively. The obtained results from this analysis show a non-significant adoption of the special forms by the male gender Ouro-pretanos who establish some intense contactwith the University Students. These conclusions regarded hypothesis that support the explanation for a non-interference from the University Students language in the other group, such as a possible hostility from the population of Ouro Preto related to the students of UFOP, do not considered by these population as their integrants. The results reveal that the situation of contact not always has as a consequence the configuration of cases of linguistic variation. |
