| Abstract: | A presente dissertação analisou a relação entre as correntes teóricas arqueológicas, a forma como elas constroem narrativas e como cada uma dessas linhas de pensamento se relaciona com o público em diferentes contextos: na mídia, em museus e com relação aos próprios arqueólogos. Em uma perspectiva interpretativa, discuto de que maneira as instituições e a relação destas com o público se apresentam hoje, postulando limites para o mundo contemporâneo das formas tradicionais de produção de conhecimento. |
| Abstract: | This dissertation examined the relation between the archaeological theories and how they construct narratives, and how each of these lines of thought relates to the public in different contexts: Media, Museums, and the Archaeologists themselves. In an interpretative perspective, I discuss how the institutions and the relation with the public is today, putting the insufficiencies of the traditional forms of knowledge creation in the contemporary world. |
